Mohamed Awadalla, Chief Executive Officer

An international hotelier with over thirty-seven years of experience, Mohamed Awadalla has worked with some of the leading global hospitality companies including Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, Hilton International, Rotana Hotels and TIME Hotels.

Being one of the founders of Host Hotel Management, Awadalla is the CEO with overall responsibility for the company’s Hotels, Hotel Apartments and Residence with a remit to spearhead the future development and drive the commercial success of Host’s rapidly expanding portfolio.

Ismail Makda, FCMA CGMA

Ismail is a dynamic self-starter and brings over 30 years’ of hands on experience in the hospitality industry to TIME Hotels, with a rich mix of financial management and control, deep operational insight, business turnarounds, internal/external process re-engineering and systems implementation. Having held unit, regional and corporate finance roles Ismail has a broad understanding and a strong track record of driving value at all levels in the hospitality industry.

A commercially focused seasoned hotelier with the ability to think outside the box with a mission to get the best result for the business. A versatile character renowned for being a trouble shooter with a history of recalibrating a facility management operation, delivering a shared service centre, leading a corporate pre and post-opening function, and project managing key priorities in an effective manner.

Toufic Tamim Vice President – Commercial

A seasoned commercial specialist with over 30 years experienced in the hospitality industry across the Middle East and North Africa.
Toufic helped launch over 20 Hotels in the region with key focus on people developments, policies and standards implementation and a keen sense of revenue optimizing opportunities.

He is perhaps most knows for launching 3 successful loyalty programs and setting up multiple global sales and reservations offices in regional feeder markets to support a network of hotels. Well known for his straight forwardness and honest approach Toufic is dead focused on achieving results

Gaetan Lavoie, Corporate Director of Technical Services

Gaetan Lavoie, began his career in Canada in 1991 and, over the next nine years oversaw the opening and renovation of properties across North America. In 2002, he took responsibility for the new property Renaissance Hotel in Montreal, overseeing the property’s eventual sale four years later. In 2007, he joined the SNC Lavalin as Facility Manager, overseeing 97 locations, and in 2014 he joined TIME Hotels as Corporate Director of Technical Services.
He is currently holding the role of Vice President of Technical Service.

Ahmed Al Mulla, Corporate Director of Security & Government Protocol

A UAE National, Ahmed Al Mulla, who was born and raised in Umm Al Quwain, has been with TIME Hotels since 2012. With over 20 years in the security industry, Al Mulla gained a wealth of international experience working for the Dubai Airport and different Government facilities. As the Groups’ Corporate Director of Security, Al Mulla, is responsible for developing, implementing and managing the overall company process for security strategy. He builds and maintains key relationships with the Government and private sectors to ensure TIME remains aligned with State standards as it expands internationally. He is a key player in supporting TIME’s vision, operations and the protection of its stakeholders, assets and interests.

Joseph Fayad, Corporate Director of IT

Dynamic, idealistic, open minded and results driven IT professional with over 20 years of record of achievements and demonstrated success, while providing visionary leadership in highly competitive and demanding fields. Solid record in systems automation and adoption, In-Room technology, and integrated internal processes. Excellent organizational and project management skills complemented with effective communication. Possess the understanding and acclimating skills to work in a multi-cultural environment.

Joseph Fayad, is currently holding the role of Corporate Director of IT, responsible for setting objectives and strategies for the IT department, selecting and implementing suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits, designing and customizing technological systems and platforms to improve customer experience as well as business processes while assessing current processes, recommending software upgrades, and directing the executive team on the best processes.

Eddie Ignatius, Corporate Director of Quality & Business Excellence

11 years of Corporate Office experience and a further 10 years operations management in Front Office, Guest Services, Quality and Commercial roles.

Eddie Ignatius began his career with Rosewood Hotel & Resorts 1999 later on he joined Hilton International and after four years with Hilton, in 2003 he joined the prestigious pre-opening team of the landmark Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi. In 2007, he joined Rotana Hotels and later joined TIME Hotels in 2008 where during his tenure with TIME Hotels he was managing various roles and responsibilities such as Operations, HR, Corporate Learning & Development, commercials and Quality Assurance,

Eddie is currently holding the role of Vice President of Innovation and Quality Excellence responsible for implementing and monitoring all Corporate Quality Programs, Corporate Social Responsibilities, leading significant company projects/initiatives and company Research & Innovation.

Ahmed Zaki,Legal Counsel

Ahmed Zaki graduated in Egypt with a degree of Faculty of Law in 2008 and started his career working in his home country as a lawyer associate in one of the well-known Lawyer’s Office. As a goal getter, he wanted to expand his horizon, therefore in 2012 he explored the opportunities in Dubai, UAE and until date he is overseeing and managing the Legal Department as a Legal Counsel responsible to make sure that company’s business is adhering to law, give legal advice and monitor all applicable legal aspects.

Amarsingh Purmessur, Corporate Director of Housekeeping

Amar Purmessur, a Mauritian national, who developed an early interest in Hospitality, started his career at the age of 22. He can express himself fluently in at least 4 languages and therefore has a good communicative and influential skill that helps him to easily lead a team.

In addition to his 32 years of experience in the field of Housekeeping and Laundry Operation, Amar has worked over 24 years across Middle East and Africa, at the helm of the Housekeeping & Laundry department in the position of Executive Housekeeper, Cluster Executive Housekeeper and Director of Housekeeping, with some reputable international companies such as InterContinental Hotels Group, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, TIME Hotels, Rotana Hotels & Resorts, Radisson Hotels Group and Millennium Hotels & Resorts.

Emad Farid, Vice President of Operations

With over 37 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, Mr. Farid has worked with some of the leading global hospitality companies including Marriott International, Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, Hilton International, Pyramisa Group and now at TIME Hotels Management L.L.C.

In his role as Vice President of Operations, Mr Farid will develop, coordinate and implement plans to increase existing business , capture new opportunities and to maximise TIME Hotels’ growth and profitability

A graduate of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Mr Farid boasts extensive experience in the hospitality industry, having established numerous successful sales and marketing strategies and implemented business development and expansion plans for a series of international hospitality brands across Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

Bernard Fanotli, General Manager and Corporate Director of Food and Beverage

Bernard Fantoli carries a wealth of global hospitality experience developed over 25+ years serving in various executive food & beverage positions with leading hotel groups such as Hilton, Marriott, TIME Hotels where he had travelled from Paris to Cameroon, Egypt, UAE, China, Aruba and Barbados and back to his home country of Belgium.

Currently Bernard is holding the role of Corporate Director of Food & Beverages as well as Cluster General Managers.
